"Trigiani's sequel to Very Valentine is a sweet second act for shoemaker and designer Valentine Roncalli.... Look for a heartbreaking exit of one beloved character, and a cliffhanger breakup in this charming valentine to love, forgiveness, and family."Read on and post a review!
- Publishers Weekly
"The second novel in Trigiani's Valentine trilogy (after Very Valentine) brings back Valentine Roncalli and her argumentative but loving Italian American family... her latest will be essential reading for fans of humorous, touching fiction. Trigiani's readers will be hard-pressed to wait a year for the final installment, Ciao, Valentine." - Library Journal

Hi Brenda,
ReplyDeleteI just finished listening to the book. It was a very good read. I won't say anymore until you finish it.
I've just finished ch 5 here... will keep at it. Loving it so far and can see that I'll want to read another sequel to it. Is there any word about that?
ReplyDeleteNot that I have heard, but there is at least one or two story lines that I think could use another book... :-)
ReplyDeleteDid you see my question on FB about TBSITS? Can you tell me on what day the book starts on? My audio version starts on day 37, which seems really, really odd.
I see it starting on day 61 and descending as it continues along. Yours starts on 37? Wonder why that would be...?
ReplyDeleteOk so day 61 is the beginning of the book. Is it moving backwards in days? Odd..but I will give it a go later this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteJust starting ch 10 here... wow! Family secrets run deep.
ReplyDeleteI finished reading 'Brava, Valentine' this afternoon - what a fabulous book! Such depth of character in Valentine, Alfred, Gianluca, June, Mike... wow. And I absolutely loved the snippets of humor worked in during family scenes - Aunt Feen and Dutch were such a hoot.
ReplyDeleteTrigiani's book is a new favorite of mine and rates a perfect 10. A must read!
