Before checking out the trailer that sucked us into reading this series, take a quick look at this review:
“Readers who like angst-filled teenage romance will be swept up by the haunting and detailed atmosphere, the conventions and strictures of Southern life, and a compelling and dimensional mythology. "
~ Publishers Weekly
And with that, we're off to the races.

I can't bring myself to read another supernatural teen book. I am in the middle of a series... The House of Night. Interesting books but I want adults without s&m or some crap. Pass on this one.
ReplyDeleteUnderstandable! There's only so much supernatural teen stuff a person can handle. BTW: I liked the book a little bit more than the movie (mostly because of the changes/omissions) but now must take a break before plowing into the next book, 'Beautiful Darkness'.
