I loved the twists and turns, and the things left yet to discover.
My only complaint, well sort of? That her mother's passing was written in with so little detail. I would have loved to have read the final year of her life with Lake and seen how she grew and changed and went through her mothers illness and passing.
I loved this book, too! So unputdownable - I even posted that via Twitter and Collen Hoover "liked" my tweet. How cool is THAT?
ReplyDeleteI'd given the book 4 out of 5 stars for the same reason you mentioned in your complaint. While I was glad to read about the celebrating of Julia's last year of life, I would've liked to read more detail about events leading up to her final days.
This book is such a sweet story of finding true love. Believable and gives us all hope in finding a soul mate. I can't wait to read about how the life/romance continues in "Point of Retreat" - I've already started!
