Tempting Fate

Now we are reading Jane Green's latest book release entitled Tempting Fate, one that I must admit to already starting and not being able to put down long enough to post this bookclub update.

Back to reading.  Review forthcoming.

  1. Love, love, LOVED this book! As a Jane Green fan, I believe this book is one of her best works yet. For those of us who are past the "Chick Lit" craze and want an honest "Women's Fiction" read, Tempting Fate scores on every level.

  2. The words be careful what you wish for comes to mind. Better communication is another. Elliott's vasectomy, whether Gabby agreed or not, set things in motion. Gabby not feeling like he truly appreciated and respected her.

I loved this book, but wish that there had been more explanation of what they went through to get back together. Really not liking how she continues to punish Claire. Claire, who came to her. But Gabby sees nothing in what she did to put those wheels in motion. It made me wonder if she needed to thrive on drama, drama that she so dislikes in others.

    Overall, I give this 4stars.
