  3. While I've never experienced the kind of grief resulting from the loss of a spouse, 'Safe & Sound' describes the most clean cut/perfect scenario in getting through such a tragedy. Comfort of friends, neighbors, and financial security make the grief that much more endurable. On the flip side, I did find parts of the story slightly convenient and found myself hoping for something suspenseful buried in the plot. I'm also left eagerly wondering how the newly budding relationship will progress - thank goodness for the final extra chapter on T.S. Krupa's website! (I'm off to read that right now.)

  4. I really liked this book, though I really would have loved to have known more about Peter and Harry. Harry being crazy, well, sure, we knew he had a downward spiral in his marriage, but to react like that to Jill after her husband died. Was he after her for good intentions or was he aware of what would have been coming her way. And how did Jill know that would be the last time that she would ever have contact with Peter. Just a couple of things that we unanswered for me. And then there is Stella and her representing Jill after she inherited all that money. I know it was said that she would not have a conflict of interest, but makes me wonder. I do think that it was a little too perfect of a recovery. I wonder if that really happens in real life. I did love the book, but wish the characters had been fleshed out a bit more. Hope that there is a follow up book, there are lots of great characters that can be built upon.
