Someday, Someday, Maybe
Heads up to Lauren Graham's debut novel called Someday, Someday, Maybe,
another book to add to our summer reading schedule. So basically, if you're already into the Jojo Moyes book and can't put it down, carry on as usual. But if you need a diversion, pick up Someday, Someday, Maybe and join in with us. Or read both simultaneously. Nothing wrong with that!

After reading up through chapter 13, I couldn't take it any longer - this book was just plain boring. Skipped to the last chapter, and yes, no extreme surprises there. Giving it 1 star mostly for the cute planner doodles.
ReplyDeleteI finished it.
ReplyDeleteCan I say that without you laughing at me?
I agree with the one star.
The story was draining. I know that everyone doubts themselves at some points in their lives, but honestly? Three years of it?
So many disappointments for me in this story. The fact that she acts entitled, that there was no real reaction to Clark moving on, and how the heck did or could she have thought that James was in love with her? The red flags, oye!
And poor Dan. She could not see what was right in front of her face. I bet that was a man that would have waited for her.
I think that the doodles were cute, but this book was a stretch. And not in a good way.
